Maryland County Repeals English-Only Ordinance

In 2012, Frederick County, Maryland, passed an ordinance requiring that county documents and business be written and conducted in English. Supporters said the measure saved the county money, but opponents said it sent a message to immigrants that they were not wanted. In 2015, the county government reviewed the ordinance.
