"Organic"—a term coined by Lorde Northbourne in 1930—has been a rapidly growing food industry trend for the last decade, but the truth is that all food has its origins in organic production. The use of pesticides and GMOs through agriculture and farming grew to prominence in the 20th century and have fundamentally changed the way the world eats.
