Emmanuel Mudiay signed with the Guangdong Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association for the 2014-2015 season. The future NBA Draft pick was able to showcase his potential to fans around China before he suffered a major setback as he injured his ankle in the 10th game of the season. This is a recap highlighting the first 10 regular season games. It might be the only games he plays before entering the upcoming NBA draft as his future in China is unclear following his injury and the signing of Will Bynum.

Update: The Guangdong Tigers are set to start the Playoffs with Mudiay cheering on his teammates. We will most likely not see Mudiay in action again, but he will remain with the team until the end of their season. Which could be when they lift the championship trophy.

UPDATE! Emmanuel Mudiay will return to action tonight March 1, 2015 to play Game 3 of the 2014-15 Playoff Series vs. the Beijing Ducks. Beijing is up 2-0 in the series and could sweep GuangDong with another away win. Mudiay will get his chance to go head to head with Marbury after all. Mudiay will play alongside Will Bynum as Jeff Adrian will be cut. This will be official 10:00 am China time.
