The Palestinian politician. Hanan Ashrawi, has described Israeli calls for peace talks as "extremely disingenuous" and "quintessential Netanyahu". The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has been insisting he's ready to talk to the Palestinians immediately and without preconditions, but Ms Ashrawi told the BBC that such calls were a ruse to buy time for Israel to change the facts on the ground.
