Fire Tornado in Slow Motion (Explained) | Slow Mo Lab HD
In this video, Taras and Dima film a Leaping Shampoo Trick aka Kaye Effect. They demonstrate how it works and film it in slow motion. As explained at the end of the video, the reason the shampoo leaps is because of its thinning qualities. As it's disbursed from the bottle on the surface, it becomes thinner. The fresh shampoo coming straight from the bottle is relatively thicker. This causes the thicker shampoo to bounce off the thinner shampoo already on the surface. Pretty cool physics demonstration.
