Stanley Johnson (born May 29, 1996) is an American basketball player and one of the top high school recruits of 2014 by Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN. He is a four time CIF State champions. He has completed his senior season for Mater Dei High School during the 2013–14 season. A native of Fullerton, California, He committed to the Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team of the Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12), as a package with Craig Victor, Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Dusan Ristić and is currently a freshman for the 2014–15 season. He played in the 2014 McDonald's All-American Boys Game, 2014 Jordan Brand Classic and the 2014 Nike Hoop Summit. He was a 2014 USA Today first team All-USA Boys Basketball Team selection. Arguably the best player to ever play in Orange County, he won 4 straight State Championships at Mater Dei.

Stanley attended Mater Dei High School in 2010 and graduated May 31, 2014, where he started on the varsity basketball team for four years and won four CIF California Division I basketball championships in his four seasons. He played and defended all five positions in high school.

Freshman[edit]
As a freshman in 2010-11, along with 2011-12 USA Developmental National Team member Shaqquan Aaron, aided the Monarchs to the 2011 CIF California Division I championship and a 32-3 record.

Sophomore[edit]
Pulled down 15 rebounds in the 2012 state championship game, where in 2011-12 he helped lead his team to its second-straight CIF Division I state title, a 33-2 mark and a No. 7 final national ranking by USA Today; started all 35 games and averaged 16.0 ppg., 8.0 rpg., 2.0 apg. and 3.0 spg.

Junior[edit]
Where in 2012-13 he helped lead his team to its third-straight CIF Division I state title, a 35-0 mark and a No. 1 final national ranking by USA Today; started all 35 games and averaged 18.0 ppg., 8.0 rpg., 2.0 apg. and 3.0 spg.

Senior[edit]
Where in 2013-14 he helped lead his team to its fourth-straight CIF Division I state title, a 35-0 mark and a No. 1 final national ranking by USA Today; started all 35 games and averaged 25.0 ppg., 8.0 rpg., 2.0 apg. and 3.0 spg.

Johnson committed to Arizona on November 15, 2013. Johnson made his debut Sunday November 9, 2014 4:00 p.m. PST on Pac-12 Network.[1] As a freshman in 2014–15, Johnson was voted first-team All-Pac-12, and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year
