Alright... Here goes the race everyone been waiting to see!!! The Z06 donk racing a Miami donk!! South Carolina vs Florida! Haha (don't take that too seriously). This race happened in Miami, FL. Some info:
- 1971 Chevrolet Caprice Convertible Donk "Z06 Donk" on 28" Forgiatos; Turbo Charged LS Engine. Donk Master (from Orangeburg, South Carolina) in the driver seat. (Instagram Page: @1_donkmaster)
- 1973 Outrageous Daytona Beach Chevrolet Caprice Convertible Donk on 26" Forgiatos; 632 BBC Engine. Big Low (from Miami, Florida) in the driver seat. (Instagram Pages: @2_fly4_IG & @Big_Low)
They raced a 1/4 mile! It was a damn good race!! Much respect to both drivers. They wasn't scared to put their built cars in the street and race. On BIG WHEELS!!
Miami, FL is the DONK capital, and they have all the major heavy hitters. This 73 donk was no different. Has some MAJOR engine work done to it. A 632 big block under the hood! Outrageous Daytona Beach paint, and fully restored interior. It's a fully built car. Donk Master wanted a race from a Miami donk, but they said he had to come to Miami to race. So he decided to bring his donk down for MLK weekend! And Kelly (owner of 73 Caprice) said he'll race him, no problem! It was crazy at how many people from Miami came out to see this race.... It was EASILY over 300 people out there. You can tell from the video! We shutted down that interstate for this race. And look at the cars that came out, all the donks and other old schools! It was unreal.. something you had to witness for yourself. Once the race was setting up, everyone from Miami figured that my homie from SC would lose the race. They didn't think Donk Master knew how to drive a car to race, but he proved them wrong! Donk master took home the WIN.
Luckily I was able to piece together all kind of angles of the race! From my camcorder, to other videos floating across the internet. So you can enjoy it from different perspectives. A guy even had a DRONE recording the race, so you can get a good bird's eye view of the race! You can even look at all the cell phones that was out recording. It was crazy.
Now all these other donks from Miami want to race the Donk Master!! But he said they need to come to South Carolina now!! Haha. So I'm hoping it'll be more racing coming this year for 2015!!!
