Veni, vidi, vici - I came, I saw, I conquered. If only it was that simple! There is no defeat without victory; no victory without defeat. All of us are fighting our battles every day, taking on and tackling whatever stands in our ways to our goals. Some of these battles are insignificant, trivial and symbolic; others flare up into major battlefields where problems stubbornly persist, entrenched for days, weeks, moths, years. It takes many charges taking a heavy toll. But with persistence, the barricades are bound to fall and open up the way to the sweet spoils of victory. Like the unbeatable mythological Titans, we are all children of the earth and the sky, torn between the two. Sometimes we soar to the sky, propelled by our effort; many times, we crash down to the ground. But let's keep going, for ourselves, for our loved ones, for the goals we share!
