Barrett-Jackson has raised more than $88 million in its charity car auctions and that number is about to grow when it sells eight more cars this weekend at the South Florida Fairgrounds.

The 14th Annual Palm Beach Auction from will run today through Sunday, where charity cars will include a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1993 Dodge Viper Hennessey Venom 500 and a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Commando Tactical Edition.

The event uses the entire fairgrounds from all of the buildings to the midway area to the agriplex for car displays and the rest of the agricultural area for tents and vehicle displays.

Other than the South Florida Fair, it’s the only event to use the entire property.

The auction will even have two cars that were owned by actor William Shatner — a 2002 Aston Martin DB7 Volante and a 2004 Volkswagen Phaeton. He has said he will sign them.

It’s also a big draw for Discover The Palm Beaches, the county’s tourism bureau. The auction resulted in 2,000 nightly hotel bookings in the county last year.

The Discovery Channel will air two hours of the event Saturday at 2 p.m.

Charities that will benefit from the sales include the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Lone Survivor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground, a passion project of country music artist Zac Brown. He headlined the 2016 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Opening Night Gala.
