Relive the insta-classic TOP GEAR moment from Monday's episode when Jeremy Clarkson recreated the Battle of Britain - and faced off against a car called "The Brutus," a flame-spitting retro BMW.

"The Brutus" combines a 46-liter BMW v12 engine, originally used to power a bomber plane, with a chassis from a 1906 New York fire engine - and brakes that, "well, they exist only in the imagination of the madman who built this thing!"

Watch as Jezza takes this "extraordinary creation" out for a spin. "Almost immediately, 'The Brutus' began to spit hot oil into my face, and that was just the start of my problems!"

Will he be able to steer this beast of an auto? Or will "The Brutus" conquer our TOP GEAR hero?

The lamest of cars, the brightest of stars, the dimmest of hosts - all light up a brand new season of TOP GEAR. Don't miss all new episodes *** Mondays at 8:30pm/7:30c *** immediately followed by World Premiere episodes of Original Series RICHARD HAMMOND'S CRASH COURSE at 10/9c, only on BBC America.

This season on TOP GEAR, the Stars in the Reasonably Priced Car are shining brighter than ever! Including such mega-celebs as Ryan Reynolds, Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class, Shame), Black-Eyed Peas' Will.i.am, Matt LeBlanc (Friends, Episodes), Doctor Who's Matt Smith, Guns & Roses' Slash and more.

TOP GEAR is back for a mind-blowing season 18 full of amazing stunts, challenges and special features. Find out why this season has been anticipated like no other as the TOP GEAR trio - Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May - take cars to the limit and beyond, often in some of the most far-flung corners of the world. Plus Richard Hammond is in Texas to immerse himself in the world of NASCAR racing.
